From Nottingham :

A610 from Nottingham to junction with A6 at Ambergate, turn right towards Matlock, continue along the A6 till Cromford, at large traffic light controlled

junction turn left onto the B5036 to Wirksworth, continue through the town centre for approx 800m, the Wheatsheaf public house on the left take the

second left after the Wheatsheaf onto Water Lane, after 300m DLS is on the left.

From Derby:

A6 from Derby towards Duffield/Matlock, before Duffield turn left onto the B5023 for approx 8miles, on entering Wirksworth continue past the Kingsfield

public house on your left till you come to a small white painted island, continue over this and take the first right onto Water Lane, after 300m DLS is on

the left.
